The School of Pharmacy and the School of Nursing both have digital signs in their hallways. These signs are supported by the College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Health Sciences. Here are the guidelines for using them: Faculty and Staff postingsFaculty and staff may request to have information posted to any portion of the digital signage. When submitting an ad to be considered for the digital signage, please provide the following:
We have PowerPoint templates available for making ads. They include some basic instructions, and come in two flavors: Nursing template | Pharmacy template. These are stored as zipfiles. Save the compressed file, then open it to access the PowerPoint template. Please submit these materials to Mike Johnson or Mark Sharp well in advance of when you want them to appear on the signs. Student OrganizationsTo get your student organization's information posted to the digital signage, submit your information to the Purdue Eboard School of Pharmacy group. Once your post has been approved, it will show up in the rotation on the right side of the digital signage. You may also submit a flyer to the eSidewalk EBoard where it will be displayed on digital signs across campus as well as being visible in myPurdue. For certain situations, student organizations may also request to have information posted to the main section of the digital signage. These requests will be handled on a case by case basis, and will only be posted if the information is something that needs more exposure than Purdue Boards can provide. Since an organization's members will be able to subscribe to the Purdue Board feed, ads that are directed only towards organization members will not be posted. An ad for an event such as a fundraiser will most likely be posted. |
