College of PNHS - Usernames and passwords

Currently we have several usernames and passwords for you to remember. We are working to reduce this number, but this is a long-term project. You will probably need to know these three:

• Purdue Career account username and password
• Pharmacy, Nursing or Health Sciences domain password
• PNHS LDAP (email and calendar) password

Your Purdue Career account username and password give you access to workstation in the ITaP labs and classrooms, and grants you access to your @purdue.edu email. It will also let you access a number of web-based applications, including the College of PNHS's online courseware, YACS. We have a long-term plan to transition as many systems as possible to the career account username and password to make things easier for everyone. You can change your career account password online at https://www.purdue.edu/apps/account/.

Your school domain username and password allow you to log on to workstations within your School, and to access the School's file server remotely, such as when working from home. You can change your domain password from your workstation once you have logged in. Press the Control, Alt and Delete keys simultaneously, and select the "Change Password" option from the menu that appears.

Your PNHS LDAP username and password are your access information for your @pnhs.purdue.edu, @pharmacy.purdue.edu or @nursing.purdue.edu email, including webmail, and for our online calendar system. It also allows you to access a number of specialized online applications that we have, such as trouble tickets. You can change your PNHS LDAP password online at https://www.pnhs.purdue.edu/access/changepassword.php.

Note that, when first created, your domain username and password should be the same as your PNHS LDAP username and password. It is up to you to keep the passwords the same if you want them to be the same, as they are changed separately.

Purdue University policy requires you to change your password(s) at least once every thirty (30) days. Please do so.
